Will It Stay Upright?
The most common artificial grass regret isn’t appearance on day one. It’s how the lawn looks in year two, when cheaper fibres have flattened and it starts to look more carpet than grass.
Flat fibres are the fastest way to make a lawn look tired and fake. We check fibre density and pile structure on every grass before it makes our range. We’re also upfront about which grasses handle heavy use and which suit quieter spaces — so you pick the right one for how you’ll actually use your garden, not just how it looks in a photograph.
2. Real-World Comfort
Will It Get Too Hot?
Let’s be straight. All artificial grass warms up in direct sunlight — so does paving, decking, and natural stone. The question isn’t whether it warms up. The question is how much, and whether that’s a problem for your specific garden.
Heat behaviour depends on fibre type, colour, pile density, and garden orientation. We consider all four when selecting our range, and we’re honest with customers about which grasses suit south-facing gardens and which to think carefully about. Real-world comfort also goes beyond temperature — softness underfoot, cushioning, and how a grass feels after heavy use all matter. We look for the balance between softness and resilience, not extremes in either direction.

Will It Look Obviously Fake?
