While it’s manufactured with the same beautiful colours and fantastic features as our popular Aberdeen, we’ve created the Inverness with a 25mm pile, making this grass ideal for those who prefer the look of freshly cut grass.

It comprises a unique dark and lime green colour combination on a straw brown thatch, with a deep green background, which produces a grass that’s bound to attract admiring glances.

If you’re looking for a strong, short-piled artificial grass that stands up to the rigours of family life and still looks amazing – the Inverness may just be the perfect choice.

 

 

Packed Full of Technology

 

Inverness comes complete with the full range of NeoGrass technologies to create a high performing fake turf that cannot be matched by any of its rivals.

To create a highly resilient, strong artificial grass we have added our Instant Recovery® Technology, which enables the fibres to quickly recover from foot traffic and garden furniture.

The hard-wearing nature of nylon makes it ideal for use in a variety of high footfall applications.

Upright Architecture

 

Inverness is manufactured with nylon and features Instant Recovery® Technology for the best recovery on the market. Blade architecture with a midrib structure makes this a durable and versatile grass.

This option is very dense, with its almost 17,000 blades/m². A dense pile and spring-back technology make Inverness an outstanding vertical grass, both before and after use.

 

 

Ultra-Tough Latex Backing

 

When searching for the best artificial grass, you need to take a close look at the backing, as that’s where everything is held together.

A common problem with poor quality artificial grass is that the primary and secondary backings break apart, due to a poor manufacturing process.

To prevent cracking and separation, Inverness is woven onto a reinforced polypropylene 163g/m² primary backing, with a secondary backing consisting of 968g/m² of heavy duty latex, which gives the Inverness an anchoring resistance greater than 30N to prevent loss of yarn.

The high percentage of latex present in the backing results in a high strength artificial turf that will stand the test of time.

 

 

A Safe Environment

 

Inverness has been classified as Cfl-s1 in fire-retardant tests for fire-resistant flooring, according to UNE EN 13501-12007. This means that in the event of fire, flames will not spread through this product and it complies with strict EU fire safety standards.

This makes Inverness perfect for public areas, such as pub gardens, restaurants, events and exhibitions, and hotel courtyards.

 

Inverness has also been certified as completely free from harmful substances and toxins, by the industry’s leading safety testing authority, Oeko-Tex. This ensures that it is completely safe and does not contain substances that could cause harm to visitors or the public.

 

 

How to Install Inverness

 

For a typical lawn replacement, please follow the standard installation procedures.

For heavy use areas we recommend a sub-base of 75–100mm, with a laying course of 25mm of granite dust.

Inverness can also be installed to existing surfaces, such as concrete, decking or paving. For this type of installation, please follow the guidance set out here: ‘How to Install Artificial Grass on Concrete – A Step-by-Step Guide’.

Inverness can be installed in conjunction with either a 10mm or 20mm foam underlay, to provide a soft springy feel to your lawn.

To prevent weed growth, we recommend installing a double layer of weed membrane; the first layer should be installed to the sub-grade, with a final layer directly underneath the artificial grass latex backing.

Regardless of the application, we highly recommend applying 3–4kg of sand infill per square metre of this product.

A sand infill will help to protect the fibres, add ballast to the lawn and improve drainage.
