FAQS
Do you recommend using Aqua Bond for joins?
You can use it for joins, but for any join longer than 4m we recommend that you use two-part adhesive, which would be a more economical solution and provide a better coverage of adhesive to the joining tape.
Each cartridge of Aqua Bond covers approximately 0.3m2. This is in comparison to two-part adhesive, which can be purchased in either 5kg tubs, which cover an area of approximately 2m2, or 10kg tubs, which cover an area of 4m2.
When you compare costs, you’ll see that two-part adhesives are far more cost-effective, as you can cover a larger area at a lower price.
You can purchase two-part adhesive in 5kg and 10kg tubs.
What is it made from?
Single-part adhesive is made of polyurethane, which is produced by diphenylmethane diisocyanate.
What colour is it?
Single-part adhesive is green in colour, to match the colour of artificial grass.
How long is the shelf life?
Aqua Bond will keep for up to 6 months in unopened containers.
How do I apply it?
Aqua Bond is applied using a mastic gun. The 310ml cartridge is supplied with a plastic nozzle, to allow you to apply adhesive accurately and consistently to a wide range of existing surfaces and joining tapes.
